Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) has again ranked among GI Jobs magazine’s Top 100 Military Friendly® Employers, this year rising to second place on the prestigious list.  The Top 100 Military-Friendly® Employers list is measured on annual hiring of post-9/11 service members, and distinguishes those companies with “exceptionally strong hiring programs and meaningful careers for transitioning service members and spouses.”

“We are honored to again be named a Top 100 Military Friendly® Employer, and we’re proud to be so highly ranked,” said Andrea Inserra, Senior Vice President and Chair of the firm’s Veterans Agenda. “We understand the value and potential of each Veteran, Reservist and Guardsperson, Military Spouse and Caregiver we hire. Our passions and personal ties to service members and their families help drive our business as well as our ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities in which we live and work.”

Veterans make up around 30% of the firm’s workforce, and are supported by the 1,200-member Armed Services Forum. The forum provides outreach and professional development opportunities for employees with military backgrounds and assists them with the transition from military to corporate culture. It also helps develop programs that ease reintegration when staff returns from active duty.
