Buy some coffee, plant some trees

Reunion Island Coffee plants 2 trees for every pound of coffee sold on its website.

This Canadian company has such a large number of sustainability programs and initiatives that they use the umbrella term “Reach” to encompass them all.  As a specialty coffee roaster they know that sustainable coffee farming is critical to their success and so they have developed a strong working relationship with farm certification teams at the Rainforest Alliance and Fair Trade to establish relationships with farming cooperatives to give back to their communities.

In addition to a commitment to supporting organic coffee farming, they have created an initiative to allow their customers to take part in giving back to the areas that are farmed to grow their coffee beans by committing to plant 2 trees with Trees for the Future for every order they receive online. Planting trees protects the environment and helps preserve traditional livelihoods and cultures for generations.
