Carter Work Project Twitter Party
Please join us on Thursday, June 29, for a Twitter Party celebrating Habitat’s Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project, which will be held this year at sites throughout Canada in early July. President and Mrs. Carter and hundreds of volunteers will build alongside 150 future homeowners, all in celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary.
For one special hour, we’ll tweet together, sharing the history of the Carter Work Project, learning about this year’s weeklong build in Canada, and chatting with Habitat volunteers. We want to celebrate and inspire the generous individuals who make Habitat’s work possible – including you!
We hope you’ll join us as we discuss the benefits of volunteering with Habitat, our past work with the Carters, our plans for the Canada build, and how, through shelter, you can help empower people to build a better future.
