CNH Industrial and IVECO. Solidarity Across Continents. Solidarity Across Generations.

Mr. Xiaowei Huang, Deputy Head of the Harbin Economic and Technology Development Zone (Pingfang District) Government, visited CNH Industrial’s agricultural equipment plant in Harbin, China which produces Case IH and New Holland Agricultural machinery. On the occasion of his visit, he delivered a donation of 30,000 masks from the local government where the plant is located. Junlong Song, Harbin Plant Manager, accepted the masks on behalf of CNH Industrial, which will be shipped immediately to our Italian operations to support the Company in protecting the health and safety of its workforce.

In addition to the 20,000 masks the Pukou District government donated in March, the Pukou Economic and Technology Zone donated an additional 20,000 to IVECO S.p.A., bringing the total donations to some 50,000.

Furthermore, retired employees from Nanjing Automotive Group, shipped 10,000 masks for their friends in Italy. These individuals were part of the project team which established Naveco, IVECO’s joint venture in China, in 1980s. They remembered positively their experience of attending training programs in Italy and they still clearly remembered the hospitality extended to them by their Italian colleagues. At this unprecedented time, they wanted to do something concrete to show their solidarity with their Italian friends.
