“Doing More with Less”, the latest book by CSR expert Bruce Piasecki, outlines CSR strategies for businesses to use in accomplishing “a new way to wealth” in the 21st century. “Doing More With Less will also be the title of Piasecki’s keynote address at this year’s Corporate and Community Social Responsibility CCSR Conference.

In this, his eighth book, Piasecki convincingly argues the case for a return to competitive frugality. In so doing he provides a variety of useful stories and examples from his 30 years of experience as a management consultant to some of the largest companies in the world (i.e., Toyota, Suncor and Petrocan).

Never before has the world faced such massive challenges in terms of resources, space, and rapid growth. Businesses can either step up to these challenges and play a unique role in solving them, or get pushed out of the way by companies and citizens eager to do their part.  Those up for it, says Piasecki, need a new way of thinking.

In short, this is a book loaded with insights on frugality in the modern world.
