Free Webinar: Understanding and Addressing Business Exposure to Water-Related Risks
Join the U.S. Chamber Foundation Corporate Citizenship Center for a free webinar, focused on Understanding and Addressing Business Exposure to Water-Related Risks.
Water is the world’s most precious resource, fueling everything from the food you eat, to the cotton you wear, to the energy you use. Yet despite the critical role water plays for people and nature, it is a surprisingly finite resource.
What this means for the private sector depends on where they operate and their industry. To help companies understand what changes in this resource means to their operations, a variety of tools, methodologies and approaches have emerged over the last few years. These resources are meant to be used at facility and corporate levels as well as throughout the value chain.
During this one-hour webinar, in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Trucost, and Ecolab, attendees will learn about two methodologies in particular: the WWF Water Risk Filter and the Water Risk Monetizer. Through a private sector case study, attendees will learn how these tools can be used to understand a business’ exposure to environmental-related risk, and how to leverage the results to drive business and environmental value.
When: March 31, 2015, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.
