Janet Holder Tapped Again for Top 100 List of Canada's Most Powerful Women
CALGARY – When Janet Holder was appointed Enbridge’s Executive Vice President of Western Access in September 2011, she assumed the overall leadership of Enbridge’s proposed Northern Gateway project.
“We need to show people just how important this project is to the province of British Columbia, as well as the rest of Canada,” she said at the time. “Myself, I’m a fresh set of eyes, and I’m here to listen to the various stakeholders and talk to them about how they can benefit.”
Holder’s leadership, poise, and focus have not gone unnoticed. On Tuesday, Dec. 3, she was again named to the Women’s Executive Network’s (WXN) Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards, an annual list that salutes Canada’s private, public, and not-for-profit sector leaders.
It’s the third time Holder has been tapped for this prestigious honour, after earning a spot among the top 100 in 2009 and 2011.
