Find out how in a fast-changing and complex market environment, innovation, human capital development and human rights promotion are of pivotal importance in shaping the role of an important economic player such as Saipem as clearly explained by the CEO, Stefano Cao, in the introduction.

Acceptance of Saipem into the United Nations (UN) Global Compact was an important 2016 milestone and as stated by Saipem’s CEO: “We are truly committed to making this initiative and its principles an integral part of our business strategy, day-today operations and organisational culture. Therefore, we will also continue to incorporate the Ten Principles in our decision-making processes in 2017 with the genuine conviction that an important global economic actor such as Saipem shall play its part in contributing to advancing sustainable development in all its spheres of influence”.
