Kamworks

There is a strong connection between innovation and necessity. The world is full of light but it is not distributed equally, especially solar light which is often expensive and not used extensively.

Kamworks is a Cambodia based company that works towards providing light in poor rural areas. They have created a solar based lantern called MoonLight. It is meant to replace Kerosene lamps traditionally used in rural Cambodian homes that don’t have electricity. These kerosene lamps are dangerous when used within a home, have an awful odour and are a poor source of light.
