CNH Industrial N.V. (NYSE: CNHI/ MI: CNH) global agricultural brand New Holland Agriculture,  unveiled an accessible tractor concept at the Show Rural Coopavel, in Cascavel, Brazil; the concept TL5 tractor model had been specifically adapted for people with reduced mobility.

This tractor has been designed to provide comparable in-field working conditions, enabling farmers of reduced mobility access to a comfortable, safe and productive machine.

The concept tractor is equipped with a lifting platform and a joystick, which mean the operator can independently control getting in and out of the tractor. The in-cab controls have been adapted to facilitate ease of use, and the ergonomic and spacious interior, mean the tractor can also be easily used by people who are not affected by reduced mobility.

The idea of a tractor customized for any type of special need, built in partnership with the company Elevittá, an expert in the field, stems from one of the pillars of New Holland Agriculture’s ethos, that of being a brand which is accessible to all, as Cláudio Calaça Júnior, Product Marketing Director, South America, New Holland Agriculture explained. “We believe that it is possible to take the accessibility of our brand and products to a new level. We are closely monitoring this and are open to developing solutions that help work in the field, whether for people of a reduced mobility or with other special needs.”
