The AIAG GHG workgroup has developed this training session to help increase supplier awareness and knowledge of calculating and reporting GHG emissions. In this training, OEMs will share information and resources on:

  • Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) for emissions reporting
     
  • EPA Energy Star® for energy reduction strategies
     
  • Greenhouse Gas (GHG) protocol overview, including Scope 3 related to Auto Industry

Sessions include:

  • Carbon reduction’s importance to the auto industry

  • Defining organizational and operational boundaries

  • Calculating Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions

  • Complete carbon footprinting with Scope 3

  • Allocating and reporting emissions
