SAP Skills for Africa Class Graduates in Nairobi

The first 52 students signed up for the SAP Skills for Africa programme have been presented with their SAP Certifications at a graduation ceremony held at Multimedia University. The Kenya ICT Board reports that the fully-sponsored programme, which kicked off late July is aimed at bridging the demand for specialised ICT skills in Kenyan companies and increasing the employability of youths..

The students have been matched with job internships with SAP customers and partners, among them leading companies such as Bidco, Mumias Sugar Company and the Kenya Airports Authority, as well as SAP’s leading East African partners. The programme is sponsored by Kenyan Ministry of Information Communications & Technology - through the ICT Authority – and partners SAP, and Multimedia University.
