Small Commitment, Big Difference in Merelbeke

On November 25, 2016, the Green Office Team from Merelbeke volunteered to clean up litter in their local business park and its surroundings.
People dispose of items such as chewing gum, food, packaging, cigarettes, etc. every day, and they can accumulate quickly. A clean neighborhood discourages people to leave behind their trash, and increases the respect people have for their surroundings.
This clean-up event, organized by the retailer Lidl, shows commitment to making a positive impact. Gloves, bags, and safety vests were provided, and in less than an hour the Green Office Team collected five bags of trash!
