TransCanada has once again been recognized by RobecoSAM, and has qualified for inclusion in RobecoSAM’s 2015 Sustainability Yearbook as a Bronze Class recipient for sustainability performance. RobecoSAM, with the S&P Dow Jones Indices, publish the renowned Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI).

Each year, more than 3,000 of the world’s largest companies across 59 industries are invited to participate in the RobecoSAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment which determines whether companies are listed on the DJSI.

The Yearbook rates company performance over the year and ranks them according to their sustainability process. The company with the highest score in its industry is the RobecoSAM Industry Leader, while companies that score within a range of 5 per cent to 10 per cent of the leader receive the RobecoSAM Bronze Class Distinction.

TransCanada has previously been awarded the RobecoSAM Industry Leader Distinction in 2004 and from 2006 through 2012. In 2013, TransCanada was awarded the Silver Class Award.
