Tune in Thursday, May 21, at 11:30 am Eastern Time to learn how an influential group of changemakers is moving the needle on gender equality. Ensuring the equal rights of women around the world is a critical step toward creating and sustaining peaceful societies and fostering inclusive economic growth.

The conversation will explore how a dynamic community development program in rural Rajasthan, India, is helping more girls get an education. You’ll also hear about the women who run Rwanda's first amusement park, ice cream parlor, and funeral home -- entrepreneurs who are changing the lives of women in central and east Africa. Lastly, you’ll hear how Iraqi women and girls are being empowered to live more freely in their local communities.

Deirdre White, PYXERA Global’s CEO, will moderate a conversation that will explore these and other gender equality topics in greater depth. The webcast brings together leaders with diverse experience working across the public, private, and social sectors to discuss how their commitment to tri-sector partnership will help close the gap in gender equality.
