David Schwimmer, David Gelles, Asher Jay, and More to Speak at BSR18
BSR has announced a new set of keynote speakers and other new program information for the BSR Conference 2018, taking place November 6-8 in New York:
- David Schwimmer, actor, producer, and director, helped launch a national campaign to empower victims and bystanders of harassment and provide tools to help employers create safe work environments. He will bring his #ThatsHarassment short films to the plenary stage.
- Asher Jay, creative conservationist, National Geographic, is an international adventurer and public figure whose compelling paintings, sculptures, installations, animations, ad campaigns, and films all have a single purpose: to incite global action on behalf of wildlife conservation. Jay will inspire you to understand you have real power in determining nature’s fate, and your—our—wild future.
- David Gelles, reporter for The New York Times and author of Mindful Work: How Meditation Is Changing Business From the Inside Out, will share his thoughts on “When CEOs Speak Out: Business, Politics, and the Culture Wars.”
In addition, BSR leaders will unveil four scenarios that can help you and your company make sense of the evolving world over the coming years and decades. These are not predictions of what the world will be like. Rather, they aim to illuminate the underlying forces that are creating the market and social framework in which business will be operating.
