But over the last two decades, companies and NGOs have been able to find increasingly common ground as social benefit becomes integral to a sustainable business strategy.

At the same time, clean technologies save money and make better business sense as they displace fossil fuel emissions. As a result, major companies are increasingly inclined to use clean energy for their global business needs.

(3BL Media/Justmeans) – A year ago, the European Commission announced it would establish a High Level Expert Group (HLEG) to advise it on developing a comprehensive EU strategy on sustainable finance. The group was established in December 2016 and comprises 20 members of the public, the finance sector and academia.
