BOSTON, May 16, 2016 /3BL Media/ - Today’s business leaders are redefining business success by how their companies work and impact society, driving the need for a deeper understanding of the relationship between environmental, educational and economic demands.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Corporate Citizenship Center and PwC are advancing this dialogue by hosting a series of roundtables on the nexus of sustainability and STEM education. At this roundtable, A Sustainable Future through Empowerment and Equality, business leaders will convene to discuss strategies for maximizing students' capacity to contribute to a sustainable future.

The roundtables will provide an interactive platform for companies to discuss the challenges and opportunities for equipping students with the experiences and skills to better enable a healthy workforce and sustainable future; and how a corporate purpose that embraces the broader impact on society can provide a roadmap for this new landscape. In so doing companies can enhance their competitiveness, drive innovation, and address global environmental and social challenges.
