Businesses are Leading the Charge on Solar Energy

A common refrain in Washington is that countries like China and India are winning the battle on clean energy.  It’s an argument that, strangely enough, is used to fuel what are often conflicting arguments—such as whether we should or shouldn’t place a cap on greenhouse gas emissions.  

To be clear, there is a lot of money being invested in clean energy technologies in China.  But that doesn’t mean the rest of the world (including right here in the U.S.A.) isn’t still moving full-speed ahead in terms of clean energy investment.  Take solar energy, for instance.  You may be surprised at the names of the companies investing in solar, and making it better and cheaper—two key obstacles to increasing the industry’s share of the energy market.
