DiversityInc magazine has once again ranked Wells Fargo among the top-rated companies for diversity and inclusion — this year ranking the company No. 9.

“This is a significant accomplishment for the company and the result of focused efforts from team members at all levels of our organization,” said Jimmie Paschall, head of Enterprise Diversity and Inclusion & Strategic Philanthropy for Wells Fargo. “As we celebrate this achievement, it’s important that we continue our efforts to improve our progress as we focus on building a better bank.”

This is the 17th consecutive year the magazine has listed Wells Fargo among its top 50, but the first time the company has been in the top 10. Wells Fargo ranked No. 12 on the 2016 list.

Each year, DiversityInc surveys companies, comparing factors such as CEO commitment, talent development, corporate and organizational communication, recruitment, and supplier diversity. In 2017, more than 1,800 companies were considered for DiversityInc’s lists.

Wells Fargo also ranks No. 13 among its Top 15 Companies for Veterans, and No. 10 among its Top 13 Companies for Diversity Councils. It was also named one of the Top Companies for LGBT Employees.
