Whole Planet Foundation alleviates poverty in 19 cities in the United States and 76 other countries that supply Whole Foods Market stores with products. In Miami, the Foundation supports our primary microfinance partner in the USA, Grameen America. Following the impact of COVID-19, Grameen America remains committed to the economic advancement of their members and the communities they serve across the country. Through their Member Relief and Recovery Package, Grameen America is ready to provide its members - industrious women small business owners across the United States - the support they need during this unprecendented time of economic hardship.
In July 2019, suppliers including KeVita, Naked, Papyrus-Recycled Paper Greetings, Sambazon, Seventh Generation and Wallaby traveled to Miami to meet microcredit clients like Kenia and Yareli featured in this video.
