Capgemini Achieves Global Recognition as a 2017 World’s Most Ethical Company
(3BL Media/Justmeans) – In today’s environment, ethics and compliance have become a top priority for customers and other stakeholders. Particularly, in the services business, success is powered as much by shared values and ethics as by business strategy and employee skills.
Capgemini has been named a 2017 World’s Most Ethical Company by the Ethisphere Institute for the fifth year in a row. This global recognition honors companies who lead with integrity and align principle with action. Capgemini is one of the only two companies in the consulting industry to have earned this recognition consecutively for the last five years.
The achievement underscores the company’s commitment to maintaining high standards of ethics and corporate integrity across the Group and throughout its global business practices. Philippe Christelle, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at Capgemini said that the company’s culture is a tangible differentiator for all its stakeholders: from clients and employees through to shareholders and the community groups.
Capgemini’s seven core values that provide the basis for its internal rules of conduct include: Honesty, Boldness, Trust, Freedom, Solidarity/Team Spirit, Modesty and Fun. These values shape its sustainable ethical culture and encourage a mindset which encompasses integrity and ethical behavior.
Ever since the Capgemini Group was founded in 1967, ethics have been fundamental to the way it conducts its business. The company continues to use ethics to build trust with our clients, shareholders, team members, suppliers and other stakeholders. The company acts in a socially responsible manner to support the communities in which it operates, while minimizing its impact on the environment through an ongoing drive towards sustainability.
Acknowledging Capgemini’s achievement as a 2017 World’s Most Ethical Company, Timothy Erblich, CEO at Ethisphere said this honor is reserved for those who excel in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices. Capgemini has set a high benchmark for the industry, by evolving with the changing business environment while remaining steadfast in its commitment to corporate ethics and compliance.
