The Arbor Day Foundation and Kohler Co. Announce a New Tree Planting Partnership

Partnership to Help Expand Wisconsin’s Urban and State Forest Tree Canopies

LINCOLN, Neb., November 8, 2018 /3BL Media/ – The Arbor Day Foundation and Kohler Co. announced today a new tree planting partnership aimed at expanding the tree canopies of the Kettle Moraine State Forest and the City of Maywood, Wisconsin. Kohler Co. employees will kick off the partnership on November 8, 2019 with an inaugural planting of 70 trees at the Maywood Environmental Park. Together, the two organizations will plant more than 7,000 trees throughout the Spring of 2019.

The opioid crisis is one of the most serious threats to public health in America since the crack/cocaine epidemic of the 1980s. According to the Drug Abuse Warning Network, there were 2,252 deaths associated with cocaine in 1988, while the CDC has estimated that around 66 percent of the more than 63,600 drug overdose deaths in 2016 involved an opioid.

  • In a total area of 14.500 m², will be build an space that will be promoting Quality Education for the children and young people of the region, based on innovation designs of sustainable architecture.
