On Sept. 19, the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri officially opened its new Care Unit, made possible by Purina. A $30,000 donation from Purina, the leading pet care company in the U.S. with a manufacturing facility in Bloomfield, Missouri, enabled the shelter to add the new 12’ x 30’ intensive care unit adjacent to the main shelter.
