D.C District Courts Demand Dodd-Frank Action from Industry Leaders


Wednesday July 23rd, D.C. District Courts raised the demand for industry leaders to enact the Dodd-Frank SEC 1502 Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act with no exceptions.  Plaintiffs who objected the ruling were denied any relief of the newly passed federal law and therefore are expected to swiftly comply by the first reporting deadline of May 31, 2014.

Conflict Minerals Burden Survey Stirs CSR


Tulane University has released a new survey for Conflict Minerals as a follow up to their previous October 2011 economic analysis study, regarding the execution of mandatory federal law, Dodd-Frank SEC 1502 Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. The survey revealed the stifling economic costs from the implementation of Dodd-Frank at $7.93 billion, a severe underestimation by U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) who originally quoted $71.2 million.
