Kroger and Stewart-Haas Racing Partner with Smithfield for 2018 Helping Hungry Homes® Tour
RICHMOND, Va., April 23, 2018 /3BL Media/ – In celebration of the spring TOYOTA OWNERS 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup race, Smithfield Foods, Inc., and Kroger joined forces at Richmond Raceway over the weekend to donate more than 40,000 pounds of protein to FeedMore, Central Virginia’s core hunger-relief organization. Assisting with the donation was Aric Almirola, driver of the No. 10 Smithfield Ford Fusion for Stewart-Haas Racing in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

Sharing our passion to help students spark an interest in science and engineering in 2017
Tetra Tech’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Program aims to help students at all levels—from kindergarten to graduate school—develop an interest in these four technical fields. Tetra Tech employees around the world complete classroom visits, conduct science activities, provide mentorships, and participate in a multitude of programs, including activities that focus on water, science careers, and motivating girls and young women to pursue STEM careers.

Dining Out For Life® hosted by Subaru® set for Thursday, April 26; NYC takes a seat at the table
WHAT: Dining Out For Life® hosted by Subaru® is a restaurant-based event with a truly fulfilling call to action: Dine at one of the 3,000 participating restaurants in more than 60 cities across North America on Thursday, April 26, 2018 and that restaurant will donate a generous portion of the day’s proceeds to fund HIV/AIDS care, prevention, education, testing, counseling and other essential services in their city.

Over the past 18 years, Whirlpool has partnered with Habitat for Humanity, committing more than $101 million to programs in over 45 different countries. In the United States and Canada, Whirlpool has donated more than 184,000 ranges and refrigerators to new Habitat homes, serving more than 100,000 families, according to the Whirlpool Corporation website.
On March 22, Sands Cares, the company’s global corporate giving program, partnered with the United Way of Southern Nevada to sponsor Nevada’s Big Give. Since 2011, thousands of Nevadans have participated in the 24-hour online crowdfunding event that was created to rally together community support for Nevada’s charitable causes.
