Darcy is the Program Coordinator for the Lung B.A.S.E.S. 4 Life Program for the Charlotte-based cancer center, which launched the first mobile lung screening unit in the U.S. in 2017. Now in its 11th year, the event has raised over $7 million for national parks, with 2017 proceeds enabling the National Park Foundation to contribute nearly $2 million to national park waste reduction and public awareness efforts.
