Yum! Brands has announced the launch of its annual World Hunger Relief effort with the new "Pass The Red Cup" challenge featuring multi-Grammy Award winner Christina Aguilera.

Aguilera has been the spokesperson for Yum! Brands' hunger initiative since 2009.

MINNEAPOLIS, July 24, 2013 /3BL Media/ - Twenty-five long-distance runners who benefit from medical technology have been named to the 2013 "Medtronic Global Heroes" team, and will run the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon or TC 10 Mile on Sunday, October 6, 2013.

This year's team includes runners from 12 different countries including Australia, China, Ireland, Israel, Germany, Macedonia, New Zealand, Portugal, Sweden, Trinidad and Tobago,  Uruguay and the United States.

Banorte and Los 40 Principales Donate MXN $500,000 to an Organization That Promotes the Welfare of Indigenous Communities

  • Fondo para la Paz I.A.P. received the resources by obtaining the highest number of votes from the radio station audience.
  • The amount donated comes from a percentage of the purchases made with “Tarjeta 40” cardholders during a one year period. The credit card was launched in May last year by Banorte and Los 40 Principales.
  • The donation will enable to the construction of rainwater collection and storage systems in rural schools in five of Mexico's states.
