Partnering with The Forbes Funds to help Pittsburgh-area nonprofits identify technology solutions to social challenges
PITTSBURGH, October 24, 2014 – BNY Mellon, a global leader in investment management and investment services, together with the BNY Mellon Foundation of Southwestern Pennsylvania, has launched a $1 million social innovation challenge that will help nonprofits in southwestern Pennsylvania solve critical social challenges and crowdsource technical solutions.
Dozens of BNY Mellon employees support 25th veteran helped by Season of Service
PITTSBURGH, PA., October 23, 2014 /3BL Media/ – Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh (RTP) and volunteers from BNY Mellon will be providing free critical home repairs to Ricardo Butler, a Hazelwood resident and U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
Mr. Butler is the 25th veteran homeowner served by Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh as part of its 2014 Season of Service initiative.

The organization has a well-deserved reputation for arming its members with valuable information for implementing best practices and improving their grant making capabilities. While the breadth of their expertise is impressive, we’re drawn to the work GMN does in the area of process – helping members become more effective in terms of how they manage their grants process.

SAN FRANCISCO, October 22, 2014 – Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) is donating $100,000 to United Way Worldwide to help with flood relief efforts in the state of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in northern India. Floods struck the region in September, killing at least 300 people, submerging hundreds of villages, and triggering landslides.
Contributions will support International Medical Corps efforts in Sierra Leone and Liberia
