In the previous posts in this series, we showed that there is a strong correlation between brand strength as measured by the Brand Finance Brand Strength Index and sustainability as measured by CSRHub’s metrics engine.  We promised to examine more closely whether or not the correlation we discovered is meaningful.

Conflict Minerals Burden Survey Stirs CSR

Tulane University has released a new survey for Conflict Minerals as a follow up to their previous October 2011 economic analysis study, regarding the execution of mandatory federal law, Dodd-Frank SEC 1502 Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. The survey revealed the stifling economic costs from the implementation of Dodd-Frank at $7.93 billion, a severe underestimation by U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) who originally quoted $71.2 million.
