Day of STEM activities and conversation engages students in 2nd grade through college
September 13, 2017 /3BL Media/ - General Motors and Black Girls CODE (BGC) today announced the launch of a BGC Detroit chapter with a series of hands-on and engaging activities at Detroit International Academy for Women (DIA), a Detroit Public Schools Community District school, and TechTown.
The school has been implementing new technology such as Chromebooks for each student and new robotics. One of the new additions to the elementary is the Qualcomm inspired Thinkabit Lab. There are only two Thinkabit labs in the entire country and the school is working over the summer to have their inspired lab ready for the school year.
Boeing Global Engagement to hone charitable giving strategy and focus

The new organization, Boeing Global Engagement, aims to bring greater value to Boeing, its employees and stakeholders through a renewed approach to global community investments and employee engagement activities. The restructured Global Engagement organization, which replaces Global Corporate Citizenship, will remain part of Boeing’s Government Operations function.
