October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. With one in three young people in the U.S. experiencing abuse, Mary Kay will be sharing one PSA a week from our Don’t Look Away campaign during October to help raise awareness of this important issue.
A common form of abuse that can sometimes be missed is financial abuse. Fatima’s boyfriend takes her credit cards without her permission and uses her social security number so he can get a student loan. Join Mary Kay and Don’t Look Away from abuse. If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse and needs help, text “loveis” to 22522 to be connected with trained advocates from loveisrespect who provide support, safety tips and referrals.
