The 2018 MIT Sustainability Summit: Good Jobs for a Thriving Economy will explore the topics of the future of work, widening inequality, and the rise of contract labor. Presenters and participants will discuss what are the benefits and challenges of implementing a “Good Jobs Strategy”? What does it look like to pay a living wage? Do some people benefit more than others in the gig economy and what responsibility do companies have to provide for their workers? 

The Summit will feature speakers and panelists from academia and industry including keynote speaker Doug Rauch, former President of Trader Joe's, and David Rolf, Founder of Daily Table, as well as distinguished professors from MIT Sloan School of Management.
