Climate Action, an international contracted partner with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) – the world’s foremost body on environmental protection and stewardship –  recently recognized AEG’s StubHub Center and Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) for their sustainable mobility operations and their influential role in the sports industry in an infographic in its latest newsletter.

Climate Action’s infographic outlines the challenge of reducing carbon emissions and includes both AEG venues among its examples of solutions including the LACC’s public transport subsidies for staff and its employee bicycle ridership program in addition to StubHub Center’s free shuttles for visitors at select events.

“At AEG we are constantly looking for ways to reduce our direct and indirect environmental impacts,” said John Marler, Vice President of Energy and Environment, AEG.  “We recognize that the way in which employees and guests get to and from our venues impacts the environment, and we’re proud of both StubHub Center and the Los Angeles Convention Center for their continued efforts in providing alternatives to reduce those impacts,” said Marler.
