Comerica Launches Financial Education Partnership With African American Museum of Dallas
Comerica launched its financial education partnership with the African American Museum of Dallas this week, facilitating workshops for the Science of Art Summer Camp participants. Financial Education Brigade members taught close to 40 students basic money management principles from the Comerica Money $ense program.
Last month, Comerica served as title sponsor of the African American Museum’s annual gala and auction, where the bank announced its yearlong financial education partnership with the museum. For the past three decades, proceeds from the gala and auction has allowed more than 50,000 disadvantaged youth from the southern sector of Dallas attend the Science of Art Summer Camp at no charge.
The African American Museum will enhance its programming through Comerica’s commitment to empower its participants to become better financial stewards with the goal of laying the foundation for future generations.
