Lockheed Martin’s 2015 Sustainability Report details how we manage and achieve progress in Resource Efficiency. Our objective is to optimize natural resources in our operations to reduce carbon emissions through improved energy management. Aligning with government, industry and societal expectations for environmental stewardship positions us as a responsible citizen and reduces costs for ourselves and our customers.

In 2015, Lockheed Martin switched on Florida’s largest private solar array, a 2-megawatt project in Clearwater, Florida, which represents part of our pledge to quadruple on-site renewable energy generation by 2020. Already, Lockheed Martin emissions are well below thresholds established by science-based target methodologies similar to those used at the 2015 Paris Climate Summit.
