New Report Shows How Business Responds to Disasters Effectively
Over the past 15 years, the U.S. Chamber Foundation Corporate Citizenship Center (CCC) has worked with companies to identify strategies and best practices for dealing with disasters. Companies are often in a unique position to respond quickly and efficiently when disasters arise.
Today, CCC is releasing A Unified Front: Business Partnerships for Effective Disaster Preparedness, Response, and Recovery. This report highlights how the private sector can, and does, play a significant role in every phase of the disaster relief process.
However, companies are only part of the process. An overarching theme in this year's report is that a unified effort is necessary to effectively manage the unexpected challenges that arise as a result of disasters. This report explores how companies can develop strategic partnerships to assist communities to prepare for and recover from disasters.
