Trane Helps Central Piedmont Community College Save Millions of Dollars and Reduce Carbon Footprint

When facilities managers at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) in Charlotte, North Carolina considered revamping heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, they sought a variety of upgrades to contribute to overall goals for the school.  Enter Trane, who provided innovative HVAC equipment and software systems that have helped reduce the carbon footprint of the Central Campus in uptown Charlotte. This has resulted in the school experiencing ongoing financial benefits, including saving millions of dollars in energy costs through energy efficiency and water conservation programs.
