New Ideas, New Practices in the Sustainability Ground Game

I often write about the Big Issues in this space: climate change, national health and energy policies, socially responsible investment, and so on. But every now and then, I’m reminded that it's the less grandiose, less visible work going on that is driving progress, too. That was my thought when I read about Gridpoint’s award for building energy management solutions. The recognition, the Frost & Sullivan 2016 Customer Value Leadership Award, is given to a company that “deepens customer relationships by offering superior products and services that deliver a demonstrable ROI.” The methodology for selecting the winner and the description of GridPoint’s products and services are a wonk’s delight. The description of a less familiar company’s successful efforts to advance sustainability will encourage us all.
