(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) August 8, 2011 - This past May 24, the 2011 SMEs Events’ Tour began, bringing together about 2,100 attendants, at 21 events, in 18 cities in Mexico. It ended on June 12. The events were free for all the attendants.

Such events allow business people to interact with others from their region or from a different one; and with this, the possibility of strengthening each other’s business, as well as to listen to presentations on current and interesting events; being the topic of interest for this tour, training on electronic invoicing.   Our involvement also includes the promotion of Social Responsibility in the sector. Therefore, during the 2011 SMEs Events’ Tour, we did not only promote Social Responsibility actions, but we also put them into practice, by using recycled material for their advertising and for reuse at future events. Such an initiative has allowed everybody to save resources, as well as to care for the environment.    By performing these actions, we provide SMEs with more tools that will allow them to successfully face the challenges posed by the market, and those of developing their businesses. In this manner, Banorte reinforces its commitment with the creation of productive chains that will strengthen Mexico and the SMEs, and will be able to offer better and additional services to our clients. All of this, to be considered the Bank for SMEs.     Alfredo Alatorre SMEs Promotion Manager GFB15916
