LOS ANGELES, March 18, 2014 /3BL Media/ — AECOM Technology Corporation, a leading provider of professional technical and management support services for public and private clients in more than 150 countries around the world, announced today that Assistant General Counsel for Ethics and Compliance Susan Frank Divers and Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer Paul Gennaro will present at the Ethisphere Institute’s 6th Annual Global Ethics Summit, which will be held on March 20 and 21 in New York City.

Gennaro will moderate the panel “Ethical Communication During an Era of Heightened Transparency” on March 20.  Recently named to the Trust Across America Trust Across the World list of the Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business for 2014, Gennaro will share his expertise by exploring how legal and compliance teams can help set policies to build an ethical culture, and how those teams must rely on communications officers to truly develop a culture of ethics within a global organization.

“Tone at the top is essential for those charged with ensuring that organizational values — including ethics and integrity — serve to define a culture,” said Gennaro.  “This panel will explore that need as well as some of the emerging trends in communications, with a focus on the ever-increasing trend of audience and message convergence that we’re currently experiencing.”

On March 21, Divers will chair a discussion of “Cultural Considerations for Codes of Conduct,” which will explore with panelists how cultural considerations should be taken into account in a global compliance program.

“All employees have the responsibility to act with the highest degree of integrity and in full compliance with the law,” said Divers.  “In order to gain a clear understanding of ethical and legal guidelines, companies must rely on a user-friendly Code of Conduct that caters to different cultures and regions.”
