(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) October 7, 2010 - CECP's Excellence Awards in Corporate Philanthropy are among the most coveted awards in the field, drawing an extraordinary pool of applications each year. Presented annually since 2000, these awards are juried by an external Selection Committee that is comprised of distinguished representatives from the corporate, nonprofit, government, social investment, foundation, and academic communities.
RECIPIENT COMPANY BENEFITS:
Winning companies are showcased at a special ceremony during CECP’s Corporate Philanthropy Summit, the program is featured in a video shown at the event and on CECP’s website, each winner receives an engraved Tiffany & Co. crystal award, and CECP works with the communications teams at winning companies to secure industry press opportunities.
Applications in the following categories are now being accepted:
CORPORATIONS:
* Chairman’s Award: companies with revenues greater than or equal to $20 billion USD
* President’s Award: companies with revenues less than $20 billion USD
NONPROFITS:
* Directors’ Award: 501(c)3 organizations with an annual operating budget equal to or exceeding $500,000. This application is to be filled out jointly by the nonprofit and corporate partner. The nonprofit recipient receives a $25,000 grant from CECP's Directors.
