October 4, 2018 /3BL Media/ - ICO Impact Group client Akoin is proud to be speaking at Serendipia’s Blockchain for Social Impact Summit on October 4th in san francisco.

Over 150 attendees are set to attend Broadway Studios for insightful talks on how Blockchain can be used to redefine how our societies, businesses and communities are working in cohesion to change the world and achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The social impact momentum hasn’t slowed since last week when New York City played host to the 73rd United Nations General Assembly. The week saw several pop-up events one of the most notable being the SDG Blockchain Festival which was organized by Akoin & SAP.

Ryan Scott, Akoin Co-Founder and CEO will be joined by speakers from WeTrust, Consensys and Dispatch Labs to explore key technological advancements and how they can be a catalyst for global financial inclusion, building decentralized communities, and fueling entrepreneurship in lean economies.

“It’s great to see the blockchain space coming together with social impact as the glue,” Said Scott. “Our focus with Akoin is to bring together as many great causes as we can to create something truly groundbreaking. We are true believers in the SDGs and in particular goal number 17. As a true embodiment of that we are excited to use the platform provided by Serendipia to spread the word about social change and how at Akoin we are playing our part.”
