Plenary Session 6
Building Success in the "Generationally Diverse" Workplace

Featuring:
Adwoa K Buahene,
Co-Founder and Managing Partner, n-gen People Performance Inc.
Giselle Kovary, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, n-gen People Performance Inc.

One of the most significant advances in workplace diversity has been the application of diversity concepts beyond groups identified in employment equity legislation. A great example of this is different generations in the workplace. Driven by the increasing potential for age discrimination with as many as four generations now working together, getting age diversity right is also essential for superior performance.

The four generations are described as Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Gen Xers and Gen Ys. Four different groups mean today’s workplace requires greater generational understanding and collaboration than ever before, with each generation having its own unique identity that impacts performance, productivity, and passion.

Generational values and motivation experts Adwoa Buahene and Giselle Kovary will explore how organizations can tap into the values, expectations, and behaviours of each generation to engage employees, optimize skill sets, and manage the differences.
