CECP Continues to Advance Business As a Force for Good With Hire of New Managing Director

Kari Niedfeldt-Thomas joins nonprofit consultancy with an eye towards strategic growth, greater corporate reach, and increasing impact

NEW YORK, May 22, 2018 /3BL Media/ – CECP: The CEO Force for Good announced the addition of Kari Niedfeldt-Thomas as Managing Director, an integral part of CECP’s senior leadership team. As a CEO-led coalition of more than 200 of the world’s largest companies, CECP believes a company’s social strategy – how it engages with key stakeholders including employees, communities, investors, and customers – determines a company’s success. As the former Executive Director of The Mosaic Company Foundation, Kari brings multiple years of experience in corporate social investments, company strategy, and business development.

Prior to CECP, Kari led a consulting practice, which included working with FINNEGANS and its affiliated entities. FINNEGANS is the first beer company in the world to donate 100 percent of its profits to charity and is modeled after Newman’s Own social enterprise business.

Kari served as Executive Director, The Mosaic Company Foundation, and directed the company’s Public Affairs global corporate social responsibility and agricultural sustainability strategies. During her tenure, Mosaic achieved the ranking as one of 100 Best Corporate Citizens, Corporate Responsibility (CR) Magazine for six consecutive years and was recognized with the CECP President’s Excellence Award for the company’s agricultural development partnerships in three countries.

Kari holds a Bachelor’s degree in statistics and international studies from The American University in Washington, DC and a Master of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, where she also has served as adjunct faculty.
