Novo Nordisk has opened a new Twitter account to expand its reporting on non-financial performance. The company’s Global Triple Bottom Line Management Team will distribute news about Novo Nordisk’s corporate sustainability activities, and engage stakeholders in conversation about its business dilemmas. The Twitter account will extend the company’s efforts to reach out to CSR practitioners, academics, and key opinion leaders in sustainability, socially responsible investing, and reporting communities.
Miratel Solutions, a Toronto-based call center that provides fundraising services, has committed to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act certification, as part of the company’s CSR principles, which also include green and social justice initiatives and guidelines. The AODA aims to create standards for disabled Canadians across the province of Ontario. As of this month, all of Miratel’s staff members have been trained and tested for AODA certification.
