LEXINGTON, Ky., January 6, 2016 /3BL Media/ — The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is pleased to announce that Deloitte is now the presenting sponsor of the US Para-Equestrian Dressage Team and the US Para-Equestrian Dressage National Championships through 2018.

"We are excited to introduce Deloitte as a supporter of Para-Equestrian Dressage," said Chris Welton, CEO, USEF. "With Deloitte’s dedication to performance, excellence, and teamwork, we couldn’t think of a better sponsor for our Para-Equestrian Dressage Team and National Championships."

The Deloitte US Para-Equestrian Dressage Team will compete in top-level international events in North America, South America, Australia, and Europe throughout the coming months and years. In the United States, the US Para-Equestrian Dressage National Championships presented by Deloitte will continue the sport's tradition of featuring world-class athletes, including FEI World Equestrian Games and Paralympic Games veterans.

This announcement builds on Deloitte’s purpose of making an impact that matters by sponsoring America's leading athletes, teams, and organizations. The organization has been a proud sponsor of the US Olympic Committee (USOC) since 2009, providing professional services that help enable Team USA to successfully compete on the global stage. Deloitte also sponsors more than one dozen Team USA athletes, including top American dressage competitor Laura Graves and her horse, Verdades. In addition, Deloitte supports USA Rugby, US Speedskating, and Dare2tri, a Paratriathlon club in Chicago.

"Deloitte is honored to support the US Para-Equestrian Dressage Team and the US Para-Equestrian Dressage National Championships," said Judy Sloan, principal, Deloitte Tax LLP. "The dedication and teamwork that para-equestrian dressage athletes demonstrate is inspiring, and the poise and beauty that horse and rider demonstrate in the arena belie the huge amount of hard work required to get there. We look forward to being a part of this organization's story and helping these athletes strive for excellence."

This month, the US Para-Equestrian Dressage Team competes at the CPEDI3* in Wellington, Florida. In April, members of the team will travel to CPEDI3* events in France and Belgium before returning to the United States to participate in Para Dressage Selection Trials in June ahead of Rio.
