Jan 11, 2013 9:15 AM ET

Jan. 11, 2013 /3BL Media/ - On December 14, 2012, the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) released Reducing Child Labor and Forced Labor: A Toolkit for Responsible Businesses, the first guide developed by the U.S. government to help businesses combat child labor and forced labor in their global supply chains.

ILAB created the toolkit as part of its responsibility under the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2005. Participants in this session will learn how this free resource can assist in ensuring ethical sourcing through effective social compliance systems that encompass, among other elements, an assessment of risks and impacts through supply chain tracing.

The Mini-Lab will be led by Eric Biel and Rachel Rigby from the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB).

$850 SPECIAL REGISTRATION RATE ENDS TODAY, FRIDAY JANUARY 11!
