GE Pledges $5 Million to Japan Tsunami and Quake Relief

(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) Tokyo, Japan - March 14, 2011 - In response to the recent disaster in Japan, GE announced a company-wide commitment of $5 million (approximately 4.1 billion JPY) in cash, equipment and services toward relief in the coming weeks and months. GE expresses its deepest sympathy to all who have been affected and maintains its commitment to assisting those in need.

GE plans to provide cash as well as equipment and services related to areas including energy, water and healthcare.
