(3BL Media) March 30, 2012 - PCI-Media Impact (Media Impact) has been awarded a four-star rating on Charity Navigator, the leading independent charity evaluator.  This is the highest rating offered by the organization, which seeks to “guide intelligent giving,” according to its website.

“We are thrilled to have received this rating, which we believe demonstrates the hard work of our team and Board, and the strength of our partnerships,” said Sean Southey, Executive Director, Media Impact.  “We are honored to have our efforts to build a strong, sustainable organization recognized by the premier charity evaluator.”

Charity Navigator reviews more than 5,000 organizations each year and provides a ranking from zero to four stars as a guideline of each organization’s financial health, transparency in reporting and good governance practices.  This year, Media Impact joined approximately 1,600 other organizations in receiving a four-star rating, meaning the organization “exceeds industry standards and outperforms other charities in its Cause,” according to the Charity Navigator website.
